The course aims to provide the students with theoretical foundations of management functions and their application in managing agribusiness organizations.
By the end of the course, students should be able to:
1. Describe basic management principles.
2. Apply management principles in analyzing different Agribusiness situations
3. Critically understand different management controls as applied to work organizations
4. Understand the role of delegation in the efficiency of organizations.
5. Explain the importance of agribusiness to the Tanzanian economy.
6. Identify key organizations in the Tanzanian agribusiness sector.
