Course Title: Networking
Course Description:
This course introduces the fundamental concepts, principles, and practices of computer networking. It covers the architecture, protocols, and technologies that enable communication between computers and devices over local and wide area networks. Topics include network models (OSI and TCP/IP), IP addressing and subnetting, switching and routing, wireless networking, network security, and emerging technologies. Students will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills through hands-on labs, such as configuring network devices, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and implementing secure communication. By the end of the course, learners will be equipped with the skills needed to design, manage, and maintain reliable and secure networks in diverse organizational settings.
